The 600-450 series of Safety & Bypass valves safeguards the steering gear and rudder against damage from hydraulic shocks and over pressurization. The unit also acts as a bypass valve to allow for bleeding the system or rotating the rudder by hand. 

The 600-450 is supplied with a manifold featuring enough ports to allow plumbing directly into the steering lines without the necessity of pipe tees.

Note:  This unit replaces the 7120 model.
