Kobelt’s newest line of steering cylinders are designed for the toughest of applications.

Available in both balanced and unbalanced models, the critical structural components of the Sentinel Series cylinders are machined from solid steel and then put through a nitriding process for corrosion resistance.

Spherical bearings are incorporated on each end of the cylinder for self-alignment and ease of installation. In addition, the cylinders are designed with dual ports for main connection, as well as drain and bleed ports for ease of commissioning and service.

All Sentinel Series cylinders are designed to meet IMO requirements and are Type Approved by the major Classification Societies including the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Bureau Veritas (BV) and Lloyd’s Register (LR).
